NOTICE ON UPDATING PERSONAL DOCUMENTS BEFORE EXPIRY

Dear Valued Customer,

According to Circular 17/2024/TT-NHNN on payment accounts and Circular 18/2024/TT-NHNN on bank cards by the State Bank,  startingJanuary 1st, 2025, your payment account and/or card transactions will be blocked if your personal documents become invalid or expired.

Personal documents include:

• Vietnamese customers: Chip-based ID card/Citizen ID Card

• Foreign customers: Passport, Visa/Resident card/Documents proving visa exemption.

To ensure that your transactions are uninterrupted, you must update your personal documents before they expire at Hong Leong Bank Vietnam branches. From January 1st, 2025, your cash withdrawals and online transactions will be blocked if our records show that your personal documents have expired.
