Our organisational culture places a strong emphasis on coaching and guidance, meaningful work experiences and encouraging new and transformative ideas.
Our recent My Thoughts, Our Future Employee Engagement Survey in April showed a 4% increase in sustainable engagement from previous years, reaffirming our employees’ commitment to our vision and mission to be the Best Run Bank. It is also reflective of the efforts that we have put in place to improve the employee experience at HLBVN.
This includes a holistic Recognition Awards program and transparent promotion schemes, which help us attract and retain talent and foster a high-performance culture. Our voluntary Staff Committee helps us build strong internal connections by initiating and implementing staff engagement activities that resonate across all levels of HBVN.
HLBVN strongly believes in life-long learning, providing targeted training in technical, soft skills, and digital capabilities and encouraging employees to be responsible for their own Individual Development Plans for future readiness. We have launched two highly-rated leadership programs for middle management successfully, set up a digital learning platform for employees to upskill and reskill anytime anywhere, and encourage our people to explore various internal career opportunities across the Bank.
